Upgrade To Internet Security 2013 Now?

Hi everyone,

I just purchased a subscription for IS 2013 having IS 2012 already installed on my system.The current version has 150 days left of my subscription & I was going to just install 2013 now but have been reading the posts here on this forum and am frankly worried that there seems to be a lot of problems with 2013.Would I be better off waiting before I install 2013 to see if these problems get fixed?All opinions welcome

There are defiantly some nice features and improvements with the 2013 version, but IMHO, I would wait, and monitor these forums for the resolve of some of the known issues. I am running the 2013 Security Suite on this notebook, and so far no issues (after I had done an uninstall/reinstall to the newer build)

You could always try it if you want, as you can always uninstall the 2013 version, and go back to your 2012 version if needed. As you know you have that upgrade option with your current subscription.

Your advice sounds like the right decision,I am extremely happy with the 2012 version so I jumped at the chance for a reduced subscription price and the upgrade to 2013.I hope these issues get sorted as I really like the product and the 2013 version does sound like an improvement.

Either way, you have a good thing going, a known and stable 2012 version, and a soon to be even better 2013 version when all the new 2013 year/build issues are resolved. You also got in on a nice deal to boot, good for you

If you like Bitdefender 2012, you can keep it until you decide to upgrade to our latest product.

Also, since we released Bitdefender 2013, we fixed most of the reported issues.

Christian just an update mate.

I installed last night after being my usual slack self.So far so good.I am only running in trial mode at the moment but if everything goes smoothly I will activate in the next week or so.Installation went smoothly,I used your uninstall tool for my copy of BD IS 2012,also uninstalled my copy of SAS just to make sure.As I said no problems so far.

beware i finally got mine sort of working on one laptop... between issues... and now every time ir boot_s the widget comes up with key invalid.. and I got 120 some odd days left on my sub...

and I sent off a pm with the key I have and still no answer.
