How Do I "clear" The Widget Event Warnings

No matter what I do...I can not get the widget to delete the 1 error message it shows. This was originally an update message for Windows Messenger...which I do not use.'

As the attached jpg shows...the message in events/vulnerability has been deleted...but the widget still shows the warning.

Is there an xlm file somewhere I can edit to remove the widget warnings on this solved vulnerability ?

Thanks....TiminAz

  • I usually click on the red number, Events Overview opens showing which event the number refers to (you should see the same red number in the relevant panel), read it, then close Control panel. After a while the red number in the widget will (should) go away.

  • Thanks..but as you can see by the jpg in original post I have already removed the "vulnerability" warning from the events windows...about 6 hours ago.

Have restarted numerous times but red '1" still shows in the widget and the vulnerability events window is still empty ?
