[resolved] Can't Activate My Bitdefender 2013
I bought this product in Jul.16. Tried unsuccessfully to activare/register. Waited 30 for trial to end, hoping that will activate after that.
My issues:
- Can't activate mybitdefender period
- In main window shows 29days and countdown ...
- In MyAccount on bitdefender my account looks good, 2 years for my key for 3 PCs
Symptoms:
1. Open my window, click at 30days, to activate, new window opens, enter my key, then "You're all set! Your product has reg successfully". Close the window, nothing changed. Try again and again, Reboot, nothing changed
2a. Open MainWindow, tried to login to MyBitdefender . Account Settings: username / pass: ****** . ERROR unexpected error occurred while performing this.
2b. Tried to login to MyBitdefender using my google account. Error: "Bitdefender error. Your internet connection has time out causing the authentication to fail..."
click OK then Successfully "You are logged in as username@gmail.com" . Try to register again, nothing happens.
3. Update does not work. At least 3 time per day has to update and restart !!! Weird !!!
4. On MyBitdefender website I can easily login and everything is ok.
What I did:
- Uninstall using Revo for reg clean. didn't work.
- Uninstall using bitdefender uninstall from site provided
- uninstall and registry clean with CCleaner,
- ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
- turned OFF firewalls
- UAC was OFF
- restart this computer like crazy

I am having the same exact issue. Just bought and installed the "total security 2013" version and cannot activate it. heellpppp.
