Black Screen Of Death With Bitdefender 2013 Is
Hello !
I've tried the BitDefender 2012 Antivirus Plus version a few days ago. Then I've reinstalled my computer (wiped the HDD). I've switched to BitDefender Internet Security 2013, but I face an important issue with both 2012 and 2013 products.
My computer is an HP EliteBook 8560p, i7 2.8 Ghz, 4 Gb RAM so hardware can't be an issue. I have Windows 7 Professional 64 bits SP1.
When BitDefender is not installed, user-selection screen appears in less than 5 seconds once the "Starting Windows" step has finished.
When BitDefender is installed, a black background screen appears with the mouse pointer on it after the "Starting Windows" screen. The user-selection screen appears after roughly 15 seconds. Once I log in, the "Welcome" screen is displayed for another 15 seconds, but it's the normal boot procedure.
I've just reinstalled my computer so it's not loaded with anything excepted already up to date drivers.
This "Black screen of death" bothers me.
What should I do ?
PS : I use TuneUp and Malwarebytes but they are not installed yet on my new clean installation, so they're not the culprits.
