2013 License

HI,

I recently purchased Bitdefender Total Security 2013. I have installed it on the two of my windows pc's. Therefore I have one copy left.

My question. I am upgrading my hard drive on one of the machines to an SSD. But want to know if I do a clean install of windows on this SSD will it use my 3rd and last license for this product? I was hoping to save the last one for a new PC I will build later this year. And I dont want to ghost my current boot drive to the SSD.

Which device does Bitdefender associate with? Or does it use Windows CD key for binding the product to a machine?

Please advise. I wont use the SSD drive if it will use my last license of BD2013.

The BD License is "per PC". If you reinstall BD on the same PC with a different HD it is still PC #2.

Hi. I have the same question. The difference is i'm clean installing windows 8 on a new ssd. Will BD recognize the PC and use the same license as the one that is already installed in win 7? I'm also using 2 of 3 licenses right now.

So I have a BD Total sec 2012 pack with 3 licences, so far I reinstalled OS on 2 of my computers, I was able to activate BD Total sec 2013 on one of them (it works fine on pc, but I cant register the product on My Bitdefender website), but the other does not accept the code (also 2013 version), it says that it is already used. How can I make it work?
