Safari Extension Problem

Whenever I login on my Mac, Safari opens and asks: Are you sure you want to install the extension “Bitdefender”?

I don't even use Safari as a browser. Any suggestions?

I did a trial of BD AV on a mac and use Safari but I have since uninstalled BD and I am also prompt to install the Antiphishing extension on boot ups. The only solution I have found is to install the extension and basically I am stuck with the browser extension I can't remove. If you turn on the safari extension in preference and then allow it install the prompt should go away but you will also inherit the extension.

It seems to be installed and extensions are on. The prompt just keeps coming. Very annoying.

I too have the same issue. I don't even use Safari as my browser. I use Firefox.

Its very annoying - can someone please tell me how to get rid of it? I don't remember ever installing Bitdefender on this laptop.
