Print Over Internet

Hello!

I have a printer outside my local network, that is in another warehouse, and I need to print there over the internet, but I can't do it if I have the bitdefender firewall enabled. If I disable the bitdefender firewall I can print to that printer. Even before I install Bitdefender I could print to that printer with windows firewall enabled.

So, how can I open my bitdefender firewall so I can print to printers outside my local network.

Thanks and sorry for my bad english.

Miguel :)

  • What you can do is check what tcp port which is being used on this connection and go ahead and white list that port onto the firewall. Good luck. smile2.png

  • The tcp port is 9100 but I can't add this port to the exceptions/white list, I only can add applications to firewall exceptions. Is there a way do add a port to firewall exceptions??

    Thanks

A product update was released. Your build should be 16.24.0.1682(please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).

In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).

    Hello!

I have the Portuguese version which is 16.18.0.1406 build. When do you expect that the 16.24.0.1682 build will be available for Portugal, so I can test if this situation is solved?

    Thanks
