I installed the trail versin of BitDefender 2008 and ran a full system scan on my 2 year old desktop with Windowns XP OS. However, I realized that I could no longer connect to the internet after the anti virus scan was done. I tried to change some of the configurations but it didn't work. At the end, I decided to uninstall BitDefender hoping that it will bring everything back to its original shape. But sadly after I installed BitDefender from the Control Panel I still can't connect to the internet. I checked the network connection in the control panel and it says the local area connection is connected and all devices are working porperly. I'm using a NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller Adapter and a broadband router. The router is working properly because my laptop is able to receive wireless signal.
