I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if these dots on my icons are from bitdefender or elsewhere?!
Its really bugging me if its bitdefender im okay with it
thanks
All I can tell you is that I have never experienced these dots myself nor have I ever seen them mentioned in the forums or elsewhere. Did the appearance of the dots coincide with the installation of Bitdefender? If you delete the shortcut icons and then recreate them, do the dots come back? Wish I could be of more help but maybe if support gets their act together they can give you an answer.0 -

Hi Lumpyox, and welcome
Are you talking about the small "dots" on the system tray icon? If so, these are the laptop and game mode icons. Otherwise, could you crop your image and post it, so these old eyes can see more clearly what your seeing.
Thank you

I think they are from any theme you applied. Delete the shortcuts and make the shortcuts again and check if they re-appear. I am sure that they don't have any connection with Bitdefender.

Hello Lumpyox,
Green dots that you reported in your post # 1 belongs to Bitdefender Safebox.
Somehow you managed to sync your desktop with Safebox( Right click on desktop<choose add to Safebox).
In the future, in such situations, go to "My Bitdefender" <Safebox and then delete all data that can there be found.
At the end restart your Computer.
Green dots indicate the synchronization with Safebox.

lol, now I see what he meant, the Bitdefender dots on the desktop shortcuts...yes, sometime that extra cup of coffee would help to get both of my eyes open0 -
Hello
When a file is synced in Safebox, the only way to confirm the action is via those green dots that are added to the original icon of the file.
Thank you!0
