Can't System Restore On W7 64bit

I recently installed Bitdefedner Total Security 2013 and wanted to doa system restore. Windows then reported that it cannot restore because of some anti virus program.

Is there a fix for this?

Note that I have no infected files.

This is far from ideal.

As you have surmised, this is a "known" issue, and hopefully will be resolved in this newest build or a future update, unless Christian can give us the reasoning security wise in not being able to do a restore without uninstalling Bitdefender? http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=161688
