So, after purchasing BD 2013 as a download with a backup CD, I was unable to get BD to install with the download installer. I am having the Cannot connect to the internet issue with the download application. After a phonecall to BD they send me an email with a download link that doesn't work.


So what are my options now?

    Hi Bfifty2, and welcome :)


    Maybe try the full offline download, and see if you can get it to run from there. Right click on the download, and run as admin, and when it wants to look for an update during the install, deny it, and see if it works that way. http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=35494

    Hi Bfifty2, I just tried the link with no problems in downloading it. Could you try a different browser than what you're using, and see if that works.

    Cheers guys, I switched browser, which didn't work, so I switched Internet. I guess my netgear router has an internal firewall which stopped the download from the link.
