Wrong Update Server Address

I need your help please.


I have downloaded the BitDefender Rescue CD there. Unfortunately, the integrated update function does not work.


If you click on 'Settings', you get to the 'Update Settings' and there this link is registered with 'Update Server': http://upgrade.bitdefender.com/av32bit-rescue-linux. This is apparently an incorrect update server address, because if you click 'Update Now' you receive this error message "Update error: the server address is not correct".


Please what is the correct link for the update server?

    I am using a wired cable connection.


    I think that my connection is not the problem. Have you checked if the update server is correct? At my opinion the registered update server does not exist. When I type http://upgrade.bitdefender.com/av32bit-rescue-linux in my browser I get a "file not found" message.

    I have the same problem:


    I have Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2013 and a wired network connection.


    When I boot to the Bitdefender emergency recovery utility, the Update fails. The current update address is: http://upgrade.bitdefender.com/av642011


    I'm also not sure why this is showing a version number from 2011. Any help would be appreciated.
