Can I install another antivirus when using bitdefender free edition 10? I do not have realtime protection.


I use spybot s&d not in realtime protection


Ad-aware 2007 free

    In theory you can install another antivirus that has realtime protection. But there isn't any guarantee that they will work together. Most antiviruses will not install when there is already an antivirus installed.

    Hello rowindows,


    If you only need the OnDemand scanner from BitDefender, and the computer you use it on has an internet connection, I suggest you to use the BitDefender Online Scanner. Note that it only works with Internet Explorer, not with Firefox, Opera, or other browsers.


    Practically, it's the same thing, except it doesn't have any processes that run on your system and it's 100% compatible with other AV products. :)
