How To Stop The Bitdefender Blocking My New Software

Hello admin staff and others,

I am new to this forum.

I have a problem here:

I installed a new software to my computer but I could not run it because bitdefender thinks the new software is malicious and blocks it.

Could you please help?

This new software is called Maths Practice Exam Creator. I bought it so that my children can practice maths questions.

Please help.

Hello,

Go to "Settings/Antivirus/Exclusions tab, and set it ON (if not).

Click on "Excluded files or folders", then click on "Add" and look for the ".exe" file or the whole folder of the application you want to exclude from scanning.

It usually located in "C:\Program Files" or "C:\Program Files (x86)" folder.

This could be the false +ve of heuristics, behavioral blocking or Auto Pilot Mode.

Please tell me if the program is still blocked with the new Bitdefender build version 16.28.0.1763

(right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).

In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).
