Anyone able to give advice on how to open ports in the firewall to enable utorrent to carry on communicating?

Hello Brisar,

Sorry for the late response.

To give uTorrent full access to the network, move the uTorrent rule on the top of the firewall list:

• Open Security Center
• Click Advanced
  
• Go to Firewall -> Traffic
  
• Click Edit profile
  
• In the two lists that you'll see, search for the uTorrent rule and move it to the top
• Close that window and restart uTorrent. Now, it should work fine.
