Big Problems

Hi, iv'e had Bitdefender for about a year now with no problems...but the last few days iv'e had a lot. First i noticed that bitdefender wasn't running, i tried to start it manually but got an error message saying that it is not a valid win32 application. I un-installed and tried to re-install bitdefender but in the installation process i get another error message saying..bitdefender failed to start, verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services. Ive also had the same problem with other programs over the last few days i.e ccleaner, spybot and windows defender.

Any ideas

Dear neilthewolf,

Reboot your pc into safe mode you can do this by rebooting your pc. But press several times on the F8 button before the windows loading screen select safe mode. Log in with the administrator account. Go to start,control panel,user accounts,edit/change an account and see if you still have administrator rights if not change it. Go to start,my computer,double click on the icon of your hard disc,right click on the windows folders choose properties press on the security tab and see if you have both write as open rights. I mean the radio boxes after your user account must be checked. Press on apply (ok).
