Antivirus Plus 2013 Or Windows 8 Security?
I'm currently trialing Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2013 and I'm considering buying it when the trial is over.
I just found out about Windows 8 Security and I don't know whether to go for this package. Does Windows 8 Security provide any extra features or is it just a version of the antivirus tailored specifically for Windows 8?
Much appreciated!

Though Bd W8 security is different same internet security(interface wise),BDW8SE uses windows 8 System the scanning time is reduce greatly
though modules are same BDW8SE use elam feature of Windows 8 To Scan. For Windows 8 Users BdW8SE is recommended.0 -

I am using W8-Pro x64 however I never use the Modern UI interface. At least not yet.
I noticed that BD W8 Security has a number of tiles that it installs onto the W8 Modern UI Start Up screen.
If I am using only the desktop does BD W8 Security place an icon in the Notifications section of the taskbar? If so, are all the features available to access from the icon GUI?0 -
Hi Nesivos
Yes, BD W8 does place the icon in the Notification area of the taskbar, with these options (same as the standard BD options) I am currently booting straight into Windows Desktop using Start8, the free Classic Shell is also excellent, to bypass the Metro screen.0 -
