MSVCR100 Missing File Message...
Aloha,,,
New member here, I hope this is correct,
and I hope it's OK for me to post here...
Having trouble with a Dell Desk-Top, I still
with "Vista" installed... I Know,,, I Know,,,
INFO--Below:
Getting a missing Dll File Message,,,
Message: MSVCR100...
Here's how the problem started,,, I THINK,,,
I had an AVG "Free" Anti Virus Program installed,,,
used it for (4) years... Then last month I up-dated to
the "Paid Trial AVG Program"... At first,, it worked
just great... The thirty Day trial period was up, so I
un-installed that program... I un-installed that
program, using both Un-Install feature from the
"Programs and Features" folder... Had trouble, so
I also used a "Revo Uninstaller Program, I have
installed... That didn't work very well either... So
I finally used the un-install AVG Program... That
finally got it all off my computer...
I then tried to re-install the AVG "Free" Program,,,
couldn't get it to work... So I bought a Anti Virus
Program from, "Bitdenfender" (on-line)... I tried
to install that program,,, no dice either,,, so I tried
to reintall the AVG program,,, still no dice...
Now,,,
I get an error message,,,
"MSVCR100 file missing"
or
bdagent.exe
Seems like there is a missing Dll File, now,,, or ???...
This computer still seem's to work OK,,, and I
still want to use it... I do want to up-grade to Window-8,
or maybe someone can make a better suggestion,,,
for a better way to go,,, ????
First, I want to "Copy" all my work to an external hard
drive... I have all ready started moving info, but I now
need a new "External Hard Drive" as I filled up the one
I already have...
