Bitdefender 2009 License Expired

Hi,


I just installed Bitdefender Free 2009 to my dads laptop which I had previously been using with a purchased version of Bitdefender on it which had since expired and was diasabled.


I ran the uninstall tool from the website to remove all traces of the old version which was successful.


After I installed BD Free 2009 it immediatley came up as expired and I think it was showing my old purchased versions license.


I tried to sign in using my account as we are only using the free version but it wouldn't work.


I then filled out the Create New Bitdefender Account section with all my dads info and we are still awaiting an activation etc email from Bitdefender to his email account.


Since then I have registered on this forum and activated my credentials to write this post and still no email to him to activate his newly created account.


Yes I have checked and doubled checked the email address is correct and it is.


Now when I try to sign in or create a new account it times out with the server not responding but I have an internet connection as can be seen from this post.


Hopefully you can help with a new License/Activation key for BD Free 2009 and whatever has gone wrong with his account signup?


Once someone replies I will forward via PM to you his account details.
