Way To Use Bd Is To Protect Myself Within Public Network Marked "trusted"?
I travel Amtrak frequently and like to use the wifi...however I hate having to log in each time and agree to conditions (I keep many tabs open in Firefox and sometimes lose the URLs because they all go to the Amtrak intro page and I can't go back)...
is there any way to setup AmtrakConnect as a trusted network so it logs in automatically but use BD IS to protect myself within that network?

Hi Oliver,
From your post, I understand that each time you want to connect through Amtrak, Bitdefender does not remember the previous settings chosen for that connection.
Did you try to apply these settings first?

Make sure to select Yes for Generic.
Please post back if you need further assistance. Thank you!0 -

Hello bytes,
"Monitor Wi-Fi connections" option, in Firewall settings, is only for information purposes (logging in events) and not for protection. Protection is the same regardless of what adapter (local or Wi-Fi) you use.
Resetting of some settings on restart is an old issue (for some systems) but in your case is not critical.
You can modify "C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender ......\settings\firewall\settings.xml" file in Safe mode typing "1" on "monitorWireless=" value.
