Vs Antivirusplus

I have a license for AntivirusPlus 2013 and have been very impressed so far. Although I've tried other AV's for the last 15 years or so, I kept coming back to Avast until I found Bitdefender and I'm pretty much sold on it now. Congratulations on the terrific product.

I was thinking of switching my other machine to BD as well but the question I have is why wouldn't I choose the free version vs the paid? I can't find any comparison on your website or on the net.

Although the Protection Technologies are the same in both but there are many points that differentiate them

1) Choice how to update?

2) Customize the On-Access settings.

3) Scan Tasks

4) Choice between User Mode and Auto Pilot

5) Exclusions

6) Quarantine

7) In case of application not run, choice to disable AVC, IDS etc

There are plenty of differences between them but most of them are regarding to the product handling and customizing according to your own requirements or situation. Not a major concern about protection.

I like the free version better ,but i do online banking and need the safe pay feature.

I wonder if the free has better detection because of it being a cloud scanner
