Which Window OS are you using and is it x32 or x64?

Which Firefox extensions are you using?

I am using W8-Pro x64 along with Firefox 18.0 Beta 6 along with about 25 Firefox extensions and have had no problems with Firefox freezing other than those that occur once in a while due to NoScript updates. Sometimes NoScript updates will casue Firefox to freeze on certain websites. This can probably be solved by going into NoScript and fiddling with the options. Personally, I have just noted those websites that cause the freezing, there usually are only one or two and wait for the next NoScript update which almost always clears up the problem.

If it had been me I would uninstalled McAfee Site Advisor and kept Bitdefendfer AV Free. Then use something like WOT a Firefox add-on. Even though WOT is a an user opinion security tool it is popular enough to be fairly accurate.

We have been testing Firefox with no extension alongside Bitdefender AV free from the begining and have encountered no problem until now. Also we tested on Win 8 x64 with the last Firefox version and Bitdefender AV Free installed and everything is ok.
