Enabling Auto Start In Bit Defender.

Due to some reasons I have deleted bit defender from my startup using ccleaner. now i want to start with system. but i could not find any option. All the time i need to click on bit defender shortcut to start it. and even some times when it starts by it self it starts several minutes after i login to my system.

I would like to know is there any way other than a fresh install to get bit defender started with windows.

I have bit defender internet security 2013 installed and running windows 7 ultimate.

Hi Fawad, and welcome

Try typing in the Windows search box, msconfig, and confirm that all the Bitdefender boxes are checked in Services and Startup. It should show: BD Desktop Update, BD Virus Shield in Services, and BD Agent in Startup.

Otherwise may need to run a repair, to see if that helps (other than a reinstall). http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=35489

Write the below code in Notepad and save it as e.g BDagent.reg and then double click on it to add the entry into the registry.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
