Slow Down My Internet Connection

I have Bitdefender total security 2013 it's slow down my internet connection

    Hi Mohamed, and welcome :)


    Just a couple of questions that may help.


    What operating system and browser and it's version are you using?


    Do you use any type of download manager, see this post: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=148455


    Are you using the recommended Firewall settings: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=35496 Restart your browser.


    In AV go to Settings/On-access scanning/Modify/Traffic Scan/disable Scan HTTP traffic. Restart your browser.


    You can then also try disabling Privacy/Antiphishing on the main console panel. Restart your browser.


    Let us know if, and what solution(s) worked.

    Hello Mohamed,


    Please let me know if the issue persists with the latest build version 16.28.0.1789


    (right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).


    In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).
