    You didn't say which OS you are using. Disppearing icons in the "notification" area of the Taskbar in W7 is a nuisance problem.


    Right click on the Taskbar, left click Properties, click on Customize and check to see what BD shows. It should say "Show Icon and Notifications" If not, change it, save and exit. You may have to reboot to get the BD icon back.
