Bd Ts 2013 Causes .net Framework 1.0 Security Update To Fail

Since installing BD TS 2013, the Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0 SP3 on Windows XP (KB2742607) has repeatedly failed to install with error:

Installation Failure - Error Code: 0x8007F070

Couple of MS fixes tried with no luck.

Am running MS Security Essentials for now and everything looks good so suspect the problem was caused by the BD installation.

Any help appreciated.

Please let me know if the issue persists with the latest build version 16.28.0.1789

(right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).

In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).
