The issue you are reporting does stand and you are correct about this situation.
They have fixed this issues recently on internet security and total security products.
I don't know whether they have addressed this issue on the free av though.
I don't now if they will deny this but this issue existed for about 5 months now.
They only recently fixed this issue.
