Using Malwarebytes Pro With Bitdefender Total Security 2013

I recently hit some nasty virus and needed to update my AV and Malware protection. I'm using Malwarebytes Pro v1.70.0.1100 and Bitdefender Total Security 2013 simultaneously but my laptop locks up once or twice a day and I see errors in the event logs relating to MBAM around the same time the PC locks up.

Can you run Malwarebytes Pro and Bitdefender simultaneously? See Windows error below.
