Download And Streaming Problems

Hi, I'm sorry for my poor English, I hope you can understand me.

I had BIS 2012 and I was very satisfied.

So I decide to buy BIS 2013 and I start to became crazy.

Disinstallation and installation problems, I formatted the PC. I lost time so money.

Every download or streaming (radio, tv) start and stop continuously, and this is very unnerving.

The download sometimes freeze, the radio/tv streaming it's impossible.

I search in worldwide forum, every solutions isn't effective.

HELP.

If I don't find a solution I ask refund.

Or I change antivirus.

Hi Winemaker, and welcome

When you reformatted your PC and installed BD, please confirm that Windows Firewall and Defender are off. Even though BD is supposed to do that upon its install, it's good to check just to be sure.

Then, see if anything in this post helps, just so we can try to narrow it down. Try them one by one, to see which one may have helped.

Hi Columbo, thank you for the help.

EG: I use foobar 200o to stream an Italian radio (http://shoutcast.radio24.it:8000). If the HTTP traffic scan is active the stream periodically stop and didn't restart. Restart only if I re-push play.

EG2: the same radio you can play by the web site, the broswer open a windows and play with a windows media player. Same sistuations.

EG3: I have a Sony Vaio. By the official software Vaio Update, every time start a upgrade/download after few minutes stop.

I procedd like suggestes in the posted link and:

1 I don't have download manager.

2 I set the firewall stealth off and generic yes. Better.

3 Disable HTTP traffic scan. Better.

4 Disable antipishing. Better.

But sometimes, rarely, semmms that the problem appear.

And besides the Bitdefender console notify me that I have 2 problems: antimalawer and antipishing filter disabled.

I'm not 100% sure but seems that the HTTP traffic scan is the main cause that block the streaming. But not the only one.

Actually with these setting when I start the stream I can play the radio about 10 minutes without problem, after start a strem block followed by a restart after 20 seconds.

Could you please tell me if this issue persists with the latest build version 16.29.0.1830?

(right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).

In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).
