Annoying Tag

Hi. I installed BD today and although it seems to be working OK, I have a problem with its appearance.


There is a tag which shows whether a page in Explorer is safe or not. Unfortunately it sits in the page, just underneath the menu bar. I know it's not very big, but I find it annoying as it intrudes into page headlines.


Is there any way of moving this? It really belongs in the menu bar, but I cannot find out how to move it. I am running E9 in Vista.

    Hi dawman, and welcome :)


    Unfortunately the tab cannot be moved to the menu bar, but can be disabled from showing by going into, Settings/Privacy Controls/Show Bitdefender Toolbar, and can be turned off from there, then restart your browser. You will still be protected by Bitdefender's excellent antiphishing filters/engine, but just won't have the tab being displayed.
