Problem With Computer Not Waking Up After Install Of Bitdefender 2013

Hi -


I'm a recent refugee from AVG. I installed a trial of BitDefender 2013 Total Security this weekend. Ever since, if my computer goes to sleep I cannot wake it up and am forced to reboot (when I do, I get a message that Windows did not close properly).


I have looked for and not found any flags or settings in Bitdefender which deal with automatic shut down, or similar things.


I really do not want to reboot my machine each time I leave it alone for 15 minutes or more - Please help!!


System is running Windows 7 pro 64 bit. Has been stable for a long time. Other than uninstalling AVG, installing BitDefender is the only program change I have made since this started happening.
