Internet Problem!

I am experiencing slow internet connections after I installed bitdefender total security 2013..I thought the problem is on my isp but now it's already 3 days with no improvement but on my other pc with no bitdefender installed my internet is ok..any ideas about this? I am using dial up wireless broadband..

Sorry that nobody replied to you. There are a couple of things you can do to try to correct this issue.

1) Did you have a previous AV security program installed? If not, go to step 2. If you did, uninstall Bitdefender and run the previous companies removal tool as it will help remove all remnants of the previous program. Reboot the computer then go to step 2.

2) Run the Bitdefender removal tool. Once that is complete, reboot the computer and download the complete installer package 32bit or 64bit and see if that resolves this problem.

Disable the following options and then check the internet speed

1) Scan http Traffic (from Antivirus Module)

2) All options in the Privacy Module.

And set the Network Type : Home/Office or Trusted.
