Bitdefender Context Menu In Windows-7 64-bit

Options

In XP Bitdefender (Internet Security 2013) puts an option to scan a file on Explorer's context menu. My installation on Windows-7 does not have such a context facility. How do I put this in place on Windows-7 ?

Regards,

Cheemag.

Hi Cheemag, does the issue persist? Do you need further assistance?

Research discovered that if a 32-bit Bitdefender IS 2013 is installed on a 64-bit machine, Bitdefender will not honour the context menu items.

Also: I use Total Commander rather than Windows Explorer and I was running the 32-bit version. Installing the 64-bit version of Total Commander fixed the problem.

Nonetheless Bitdefender should honour the context menu items whatever version is installed.

    The problem is solved.

    Thank you for your feedback!

The 32 bit installation kit of Bitdefender should not allow you to start the installation on 64 bit systems. The reverse is also true.

Since the issue is solved, I declare this topic closed.

    Have a nice week!
