System Slow Down

Hello,

I have installed Bitdefender 2013 total security, 10 days back. Since then, my laptop is just slowing down like ######, especially when watching movies and browsing internet. Is there any fix for this? or do we have to take it granted with a HEAVY Bitdefender resources?. Below are my system Specs

INSPIRON 1525 DELL

HDD: 250 GB

RAM: 3 GB

Processor: Intel core 2 Duo@T5800 2GHz

32 Bit operating system

Kindly read this article.

If this doesn't help try to Repair (Uninstall/Repair) your product.

Be sure that your previous Antivirus has totally been uninstalled using the proper tool on this page.

I would also recommend to make sure there are no other security solutions or http scanning applications installed on that system.

Also, please let me know if the issue persists with the latest build version 16.29.0.1830

(right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).

In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine (you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).

Hi Karthik, how did this worked out for you if I may ask? I guess there are 2 security software installed here that why you're getting a slowness issue.
