Updating.

I have had Bitdefender for a few months now and have some questions.

1) Does BD update immediately after the update is "published".? I ask this because I sometimes update manually and usually find that an update downloads. Shouldn't these have downloaded automatically ?(I have BD on automatic download.)

2) Does BD rescue mode do the same job as the BD rescue disk?In other words Do I need Both? Which is best?

3) My BD rescue disk won't update itself. Is this because I have Wifi?

4) Does BD rescue mode update with Wifi?

With the Auto Update feature turned ON, Bitdefender checks for virus signatures every 15 minutes. As soon as an update is detected, it is automatically downloaded and installed on your computer.

About the Rescue Mode - it is an advanced alternative to the classic Rescue CD. If you have all the updates installed in Windows, when starting the PC in Rescue Mode, it will copy all the definitions in this environment so the product will always be up to date. There is no need to run again the Update in Rescue Mode. And yes, Rescue Mode can not be updated over some wi-fi connections or mobile ones.
