Installation Error Bitdefender 2008

I downloaded the new version of Bitdefender 2008 and tried installing it. But as soon as i double click on the 32 bit exe, it gives


error: "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect"


what should i do ?

    Hello chandra,


    Maybe the kit has become corrupted during download. Try to download it again.


    Also, be sure that you downloaded the correct version. If you have a 64bit operating system, then you have to download and install the 64bit version of BitDefender, bot the 32bit version.
