Password Protected Files

Hi y'all

A newbie to this forum and only been using BitDefender Total Security 2008 for a couple of months. Pretty pleased so far but after updating in the last few days a full system scan is now omitting thousands of files due to them being 'Password Protected'. The same files were previously including in the scan with no security changes being made to my system.

I assumed that this might be a 'hot topic' as the subject of Password Protected files currently 'heads up' the Support Page, without making specific reference to changes to the BitDefender engine that may have caused this.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem as I have been unable to find related posts on the forum?
