Nt Kernel Error 1256 - Can't Login To Windows Period?

I haven't seen someone ever mention this but after dealing somewhat successfully with what has turned out to be this nuisance, I left my place of business in the hands of another co-owner. He made the mistake of rebooting, and now where there were NO login passwords, both the admin and regular automatic login profile have passwords, and not ones we created or chose......much different than any malware I'm used to, in fact, its very odd to me.
Going to reset the password jumper and see what happens.
Anyone ever run into this, or is this something collateral with the nt kernel error 1256 mess?
