Registry Cleaner Need Administrative Privileges

I have the same problem.

I'm running BitDefender Total Security 2013 on Windows 8 x64.

Can't run the registry cleaner.

Also, Windows doesn't detect my BD installation and keeps telling me I have to find an antivirus and firewall solution.

What should I do?

To further investigate the cause of this issue, please post here a support tool log by following these steps:

You may not be able to upload the files here as they are too big so you can put them on www.sendspace.com and post the download links.

Same problem here. Running Bitdefender total security 2013 on Windows Vista 32 bit. Never a problem with 2012. Have same product on laptop with Windows 8 with no issues. :wacko:

I uploaded a Support Tool log to sendspace

I was able to uninstall and reinstall and it resolved the issue for me!
