Looking At Using Bitdefender 2008
Currently using NOD32 v3. My subscription is due to run out in about a month, and looking at whether to renew, or try something new like BitDefender 2008.
Has anyone used both and tell me what I will gain with bitdefender 2008? I use Vista 64 btw.

Never use 2 Security suites at the same time loaded as a TSR – one will counter act the other i.e. will create conflicts on the security utilities.
Why don’t you look at some comparisons in the top 10 listings to find the differences, like these.

or

or read the screw ups they cause to evaluate what you want to use.

The question always is “How good is what you have” and is it ranked highly in the tests performed by independent authorities ? Then you decide !
Just make sure that you uninstall any other Security suites and re-boot before installing the New one of your choice and make sure you download the correct 64 bit trial version!
http://www.bitdefender.com.au/site/Downloads/ and click on the “looking for 64 bit versions? ” and then click on the “64 bit version” red text below the BD program you want to try out. I suggest if you decide to use BD then try the Internet Security 2008 or the Total Security 2008.
