Bitdefender 2013 Causes Sonos Problems

With my SONOS music player system, I have noticed that the GUI in Windows 7 keeps resetting while I am trying to use it.

When I turn off the firewall for BitDefender 2013, the problem goes away so BD is definitely not allowing something to occur with it's ports.

I cannot for the life of me to figure out how to allow particular Sonos ports to pass.

I see that BD automatically created an EXCEPTION for the Sonos EXE file and appears to allow everything, yet it does not.

Thus, still trying to figure out how to allow specific ports to operate in BD 2013.

If the issue still persists, kindly perform this test:

- bring up the Bitdefender interface

- click on Settings > go to Firewall panel > Settings tab > General rules

- set all the rules from the new window to "Allow" > close > restart the machine

Thank you for the info, however, I had already seen the above information somewhere on the site and implemented it a couple weeks ago. Just to be sure I got both steps correct, I went into BD to ensure it matches your information above. The problem still exists.

As much as I like BD, I will have to let it expire next month and replace it with a product that isn't interferring with Sonos since I literally use it every day, all day long and I would not want to leave off the BD firewall just prevent interferrence with Sonos.

I presume the real problem is that BD is not allowing the specific SONOS ports to communicate. If there is an ability in DB to allow specific ports then I sure can't find it, yet I thought I remember it having that capability long ago. Maybe the problem is that I just can't find how to allow specific ports to communicate.
