Hi,
I installed Bitdefender IS 2013 a few days ago after having used Kaspersky for many years. Prior to installation I used the Kaspersky removal tool in safe mode to remove all traces of KIS and all seemed to go OK.
When I turned my computer on this morning it crashed with a BSOD. I rebooted and all seems to be OK apart from the fact that now if I mouse over the Bitdefender tray icon I get the message - 'Bitdefender services are now loading, please wait'.
If I open the Bitdefender application it all appears to be working OK - I get the green 'You are currently protected' sign. The only other thing I noted is that the network tray icon now has a red cross even though I can access the network and internet without problem.
Any ideas?
