Paranoid Mode Switched Off Automatically Specially In Laptop Mode

recently i brought bittdefender total security. its work fine. but there are 2 problem

1. its always trying to update ( i switched off the auto update. and this work, the main problem is number 2) bcz i have a narrow-band connection so its very disturbing

2. the paranoid mode always switch off automatically whenever i shutdown or its goes to laptop mode. bcz i have a narrow band internet so i blocked unnecessary software to trying to connect.

plz help me with the 2nd problem
