Unwanted Autorenewal Charged

Hi,


My credit card has been charged for autorenewal for Bitdefender antivirus though I have no intention for renewal.


Following is the email from autorenewal:


Customer Number: 174629732213


Renewal Order Number: 12186111000


Original Order Number: 18396416424


Renewal Date: 26 June 2013


Please revert the charges as I dont want this auto-renewal at your earliest.


I don't even remember if at all I had selected auto-renewal option and didn't receive any such communications.


Also I bought the new copy of Bit Defender for Rs. 399/- and now for renewal I have been charged Rs. 4641/- which around 10 times the original cost!!!


Please help and cancel this auto-renewal

    Thanks for your prompt response. Yes, i read through the official post but for me, my cc has been already charged. I contacted Live chat support of Bitdefender and the person submitted a request for refund to sales dept.


    Hope this gets refunded smoothly.

    You're welcome :) I'm glad to hear Chat support is taking care of you in a kindly and expedient fashion. Just off the top of my head, it may take about 5-7 days to show up on your account. edit: once it's been submitted.

    You can email to CustomerService@digitalriver.com to cancel auto-renewal and for refund. You have to give your ID.

  • <img class=" /> I was recently charged for an auto renewal on Bitdefender Internet Security 2013 for $69.95 from Avangate BV. I have talked on the phone twice with the same person and emailed twice and still cannot get anyone to send me the refund email they keep telling me they are going to send. They say from 24 to 48 hours and I am getting impatient waiting and waiting. I do not want this program and it is useless to me. It does not run good on my computer. I sure hope these people are not telling me a bunch of lies because I cannot stand LIES. I want a refund and I want to close my account immediately. It is sad that someone just helped themselves into my Pay Pal account and took out what they wanted for this without me knowing about it until I got a surprise email!
