    Don't get me wrong, as I'm just a member here too :) But, could you provide the actual web page links you found these links from, please. I know there probably just fine, but I'm a little paranoid that way as far as pop up BD downloads that haven't been sanctioned yet by Christian or Georgia, as the online installers were here: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=189416

    You should have known that Paul.R, pretends that he is just a member.


    As a BD staff member has fully access to http://download.bitdefender.com/ thus, he can provide the links.


    Just take a look at his posts (by his profile).

    Thank you for that explanation, Georgia, but until someone from Bitdefender such as yourself, or Christian, sanctions new "unknown" download links, especially pop up file links, I will always question their authenticity. The integrity of your software for the users is first and foremost of my (and others here) concern when it's something as critical as security protection...and I'd do it again in the future ^_^ So, again, thank you for giving me (us) peace of mind. Sorry, Paul.R, but that's just how I am ;)

    Very well said... :rolleyes: but if you look in the address link, download.bitdefender.com, see that came from a trusted address otherwise.


    However, an official confirmation is the best way.

    We went through a bit of back and forth with the online installer version, addressed "download.bitdefender.com". Yet it wasn't the total package and we ended up receiving the "recommended" links later on. So I just wanted to be sure this time, and avoid any confusion or wondering about their integrity.

    You have to realize though, you both are very advanced in your PC/software understanding, and could work around an install/glitches etc...it's us more novice users who I was thinking of. Yet, too, I was excited to see the release version, so I don't fault you in wanting to see it more quickly, even in an alpha version ^_^

    When I try to download TS from the above link with IDM it always stopped at 99%. Could you please tell me how I download them.

    I have tried ... but as my internet connection is not fast enough it always breaks after 100MB of downloads. :(

    You could try though running the short installer:


    http://www.bitdefender.com/site/Downloads/...nstaller/ts.exe


    During the installation, you should see a message that your download speed is slow, like in this image. In the end, Bitdefender will finish downloading the installation files.

    If that still doesn't work, you can download the full kit on a PC with good internet access and then copy the installation kit on your current PC. When prompted if you want to download the latest files, choose No, to speed up the installation process.

    I try to execute beta installer (bitdefender_tsecurity_beta.exe) and have the same error message: this program requires internet connection. But internet connection works very fine .... although, Win Defender / Firewall disabled, any other antivirus uninstalled, bitdefender uninstall tool executed.


    Any other suggestions?
