Installation Of Bd Antivirus 2008 On Vista

i have this issue of installation of bitdefender antivirus 2008 on vista...i have installed and registered the first time and was successfull then after reboot its back to square one...asking me to register again...after rekeying the product key the second time and was also successfully and stated i have 1095 days ..after reboot again it pop up again asking to register product...?? i have done it on xp with no issues...like this....can anybody advise

is this a vista issue which does not allow to capture details in registry or something else..

i dont know if is the cure..i found this from forum..will try first and see if fix the problem..

For windows versions prior than vista:

Go to start,run,at the run dialog box type regedit press enter,expand the registry key hkey_local_machine,and the following folders and subfolders:software,microsoft,windows,currentversion,run. Now take a look at the right side of the screen and delete the entry called BDWizReg.

For vista: go to start,type regedit in the windows search text field press enter,for the rest you have to follow the previous instructions for the older windows versions.
