Install/setup Window Wont Close

So I installed BD Total Security on my XP machine, everything seems to have installed properly. However, the BitDefender Total Security Setup window just doesnt close! Status seems to be stuck at around 90% and it has been so for the last hour. The only button available is "Cancel"...!?

So what's next? Cancel & reinstall? If so, I already did that twice today.

Any other suggestions?

Please use the special uninstall tool that you can download here. Please tell us if you managed to reinstall BD succesfully. In addition, you should view this topic to gather information on how to remove any other security products you may have previously installed.

Nothing to uninstall since it's a fresh new Windows XP installation. I will try the uninstall tool you just provided the link for. I doubt this would be of any help as this will be my 3th attempt today to uninstall & install BD.

Hum no it did not work. However, I decided to do a final install attempt removing all the checks for optional settings (schedule 2am scan, updtae, etc) and it worked flawlessly... Go figure!

But hey, product is now cooperating, it's all I'm asking!
