Windowsxp Windows Critical Update Interaction
I opened Ticket ID# 201307041032598 but have not heard anything back on this issue. So first question: How do I followup with this ticket? I am new to BitDefender; doing free trial of AntiVirus 2013. I did search this forum but did not find anything regarding issues with Windows XP "Windows Update". Maybe a newbie issue with using the forum.
Here's the problem: Events Overview shows an item under Antivirus. The item is listed under Vulnerability. Updates available for install. Critical Windows Updates is checkmarked.
Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x86 (KB2836941).
This update shows as installed under Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs. I did uninstall KB2836941 and let the Bitdefender process download and install KB2836941 successfully; but on the next Bitdefender scan it listed this critical update again.
Just need some guidance on how to proceed with support of whoever can help. I like the Bitdefender product but cannot buy something that drives me nuts with false indications.
