Nintendo Wifi Usb Connector Problem
Hey Guys,
Only on the forum as I only have one issue.
I am trying to get my Nintendo Wifi USB Connector to work without disabling my firewall. I have found that it does work only when I turn off the firewall and install the Wifi Software again. If I do have the firewall on, error 52203 comes up. However, if I reboot my computer again and try to connect again, error 52103 comes up.
My question to you guys is can you connect with nintendo Wifi usb connector without disabling the Bitdefender firewall? I have tried almost everything that I can think of that the links suggests.
Also, sometimes even when I turn off my firewall, it still doesn't work. I am SERIOUSLY confused.
Also, can anyone translate the help you get on the nintendo forums regarding this in order to relate to the software (Total Protection 2012)?
Thanks

I've installed it (without changing the firewall) and I still get the 52103 error. Can someone help me please? What should I do next?0 -
Hello,
I would recommend following the steps from this knowledge-base article to add exception for this software in the Bitdefender firewall (scroll down to get to that part):
http://www.bitdefender.com/support/How-to-...tions-1163.html
Also, make sure to have these settings:
1.
- open Bitdefender, go to Firewall panel and make sure it is turned on
- click on "Manage adapters" and locate the adapter. It is either Local Area Connection if the device is connected by cable or Wireless Area connection if it is a wireless device
- for this particular adapter please set :
* Network type to Home/Office
* Stealth mode to Off
* Generic to YES and click Close.
2.
- click on Settings
- go to Firewall module and click on the Advanced tab
- turn ON "Internet Connection Sharing" and turn OFF "Block port scans"
Please feel free to reply if you need further assistance.0
