False Alerts From Windows Vista Security Center

Options

Windows Vista Home Premium SP2, Bitdefender Total Security 2013

On several occasions, my Windows Security Center has reported one or more BD modules as not working. I am shown the list and given the option to turn the missing functions back on. If I do that, nothing happens.

Checking BD, I find that all modules ARE working, and that the system is secure.

I'd like to know what makes Windows see a problem that doesn't exist - any comments?
